I had this when it first came out. I also had a lot of the tie-in issues.
But Batman and Detective Comics had no tie-ins. My thought on this was
because the writers were concentrating on trial story of the custody of the
original Jason Todd as well as the Golden Age Batman (Batman of Earth 2)
being dead. But the artwork still showed the skies being affected by what
was happening in Crisis. A lot of heroes and villains died, some well known
and some not so well known.

I've read this fifteen years ago however since the crisis will come to Arrowverse in the end of this year, I reread again but now in Google apps. It is still an amazing story to read. Perez's drawing are still phenomenal!

You cannot call yourself a fan of DC or comic books in general, unless you've read this. Probably the best crossover comic megaseries of all time.

About the author
Marv Wolfman is comics veteran, having written for both DC and Marvel over the past four decades. Some of his best known work includes CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS, SUPERMAN and the NEW TEEN TITANS. A few of the characters he created in that stretch include Deathstroke, Starfire and Cyborg.
