Ryan Stevens, a former figure skater and judge from Halifax, Nova Scotia, has spent the last decade uncovering the intriguing history of figure skating through his blog, Skate Guard. His research has also supported numerous museum exhibits and television programs aired on CBC, ITV, and NBC.
