I love how Royce didn't like Sawyer in the beginning, but he couldn't stop his heart from falling in love. I love the banter and the hot loving between them. The crime angle was interesting and didn't feel like it was secondary to the romance. I honestly just wish there was more. Like... 4 more books with these two? Their little cameos in the sinister in Savannah series is good but I just loved them too much to want to let them go. Oh well, I'll take what I can get.

    Great book. Great series. AND (in spite of how much I did not enjoy the curl up and due series which I very truly did not, though admittedly I only read a confusing short story and about 10 pages beyond that) great author.

    Read the blurb for the plot and if you are a fan already be prepared for some more scorching scenes between these two (maybe too many but none are boring). Then get ready for the surprise at the end of the book when author Walker lets us know there will be spinoffs and more spinoffs.

    This was yet another brilliant book centering around Sawyer Key and his partner Royce Locke. The pair have great chemistry and work seamlessly together. I was hooked from start to finish and couldn't put it down. The world building is excellent and I can't wait to jump in to the other books in this world. I'm also SO happy that there's a new series out now involving Sawyer and Royce; I think I'd cry if I had to say goodbye to them forever!
    Overall, a fabulous 3rd book that is definitely best enjoyed after reading the previous 2. I would recommend it to those who like MM romance with some good old-fashioned detective work thrown in too. It has to be 5 stars!
