The Green Fields Series Boxed Set: Books 4-6: A Post-Apocalyptic Survival Thriller Series Kindle Edition
The world as we know it has ended—but life goes on for those who survived.
It’s a brave new world out there for those who dare venture out into the zombie-infested wasteland. Lots of resources are right there for the taking—maybe even a cure.
The 12-book series is now complete. Find out how a new civilization is rising from the ashes—or not.
Green Fields #4: Extinction
If you need some zombies killed, who do you call? The Lucky Thirteen.
A few weeks have passed since the events in Aurora, and Bree, Nate, and the gang are back on the road. The odd mall to raid, cattle to herd, provisions to deliver—all no match for our trusty group of scavengers. The world is yours for the taking when killing zombies becomes routine. Yet with temperatures rising in late spring, a new menace appears on the post-apocalyptic theater of war. Roving bands, thousands of zombies strong are scouring the country, and already the first settlements are going dark. In a world where every human life is valuable, losing hundreds at once is not an option. What makes the zombies band together like that—and, more importantly, why are the tough ones even harder to kill than mere months ago? Bree may wish that she’s just paranoid, but she can’t shake the suspicion that finding a cure may not be the only cause the government is pouring resources into. But to what end?
Green Fields #5: Resurgence
Not so lucky anymore…
Civilization is on the brink of crumbling—and this time not just due to the zombie apocalypse. The roads have become dangerous, and what havens have been established are no longer safe. Murmurs of unrest—or maybe even a brewing civil war—are getting loud. No longer are zombies the only thing preying on those that think to brave the world outside the settlements.
Yet as grave as things are getting, this is not the main issue that is plaguing Nate’s mind. He has bigger fish to fry.
Green Fields #6: Unity
United we stand, divided we fall
Once again reunited, the Lucky Thirteen set out to hunt down their adversaries—only to be met with an entirely new set of unexpected obstacles. As much as Bree is burning to finally get her revenge, it soon becomes obvious that on their own they are no match for the forces opposing them. With giving up not an option, they will have to find a way to bolster their numbers—or failing that, make the ultimate sacrifice.

- Reviewed in the United States on August 9, 2023I have become a huge fan of Adrienne Lecter! I read The Anthrax series first, and then began reading The Green Fields series (1-6). I am about to start Book 7 (call me a glutton), so obviously I want to read more of Bree and Mate's story. It has been a total joy to become completely involved in this series, I have loved the almost nonstop action (far better than an action movie), and the love story between Bree and Nate. Please keep on writing at this level and you will have a life long fan in me.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 4, 2024After all it's a long series which I prefer but the dialog to action ratio is skewed. I got so sick of the bickering between Bree and Nate it was mostly talk with an occasional oh we wiped out 20 zombies. I have never heard so many chuffs, chuffed and chuffing. Please beta readers stop her madness! BTW not many gun clubs/ shooting ranges in Austria and the online pics were hillarious- looked like they have to wear head to toe multicolored outfits that are i assume bullet proof? One club boasted an amazing 35 weapons to fire lol. Here in the south that's not even a large personal collection so maybe call bs on the authors claims to spending lots of time at an Austrian range.

5.0 out of 5 stars Thrilling Ride
Read books 4 to six as a box set so reviewing as such. What a ride. Book 5 was such an emotional roller coaster I’m still trying to catch my breath and Bree’s development as a badass leader was epic in book 6. I wasn’t such a big fan of her constant bickering with Nate but I understand that it was supposed to display the complicated yet unbreakable nature of their relationship so I get it. I’m quite content with the ending of book 6 and am filled with trepidation about continuing the story but as I’ve become immersed in this world I think I’ll brave it and continue. Highly recommend this series.
