Having read and loved the previous books in the Southern Wedding series, I was really looking forward to this book especially when I saw that this book was an age gap and single dad romance. As someone who loves the tropes, I was so excited to listen to the audiobook. Unfortunately I struggled with this book especially with Caine and Grace’s relationship. The miscommunications and Grace’s immaturity really made it hard for me to enjoy this book. Other the hand, I loved the moments between Caine and his daughter and how much of a doting father he was. I also thought the audio was amazing. But if I had read this book instead of listening to the audiobook, I don’t think I would’ve been able to finish it. Even though this book wasn’t my favorite in the series, I still enjoyed some parts of this book. And I also hope that Caine’s brother Nash gets his own book because I would love to read his story.

    Nathasha Madison has done it again! I absolutely loved Mine to Keep an incredible small-town love at first sight love story, the eighth and final book in her Southern Wedding series. I loved Mine to Keep, but it was a bittersweet book for me knowing that it is the final book in the series. Natasha Madison continues to show that she is an amazing storyteller and is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors to read. It was impossible to put Mine to Keep down, and I loved every moment on every page. My favorite part of the story is how Natasha Madison incorporates the picture on the cover and the title of the book into the love story, with the last line in the love story. Who does not love hot sexy men, strong females, loving families, and friends, who always support one another? I really enjoy how the book is told in the first person from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting the insight and feelings from the different characters. I love how Natasha Madison always manages to create the "perfect" heroine, who is a strong, sassy woman on her own, to balance out the sexy, swoon worthy man. Mine to Keep is filled with the heartbreaking and heartwarming moments that I have come to love and expect in a Natasha Madison love story, and she did not disappoint, especially with the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. Mine to Keep is the story of Grace Barnes, personal assistant and her new boss, Caine Griffin, managing director and portfolio manager for Cottrell Group and single father to his four-year-old daughter, Meadow. After graduating from college, Grace decides to move away from home to Washington, DC to make a name for herself. When Grace is introduced to Caine as his new PA, he makes it appear that he is not happy with her, but in reality, he was attracted to her when he saw her walking into the building as he drove by. Initially Grace and Caine hate each other, Caine is hung up on their age difference. Grace is taking classes toward her master’s degree in accounting and therefore leaves work early to attend her online classes. Caine is unaware that Grace is doing this. Meadow gets sick at daycare when Caine is attending an off-site meeting. With Caine’s brother, Nash’s assistance, Grace picks Meadow up at daycare, but Caine is angry when he returns to the office and sees Grace holding Meadow. Caine’s parents, Ida and Ernie want to hold a gala for the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Cottrell Group and Grace has taken the planning of the gala upon herself and works with her cousin Sofia, an event planner to plan and organize the dinner. One of my favorite parts are the snacks that Grace supplied for her first weekly management meeting between Caine and his managers. Also, love the names they give one another in their cell phones, since it is a workplace romance, and they did not use their real names. My favorite part of a Natasha Madison love story is always the epilogues that go above and beyond the happily ever after, I especially the second epilogue, that takes place three years later and is told from Caine’s perspective, I truly love the surprise that is revealed, it was my favorite part of the story. I love the characters in Mine to Keep, and catching up with characters from her other series, the characters feel like family and friends. I enjoyed all the interactions between the characters, especially their teasing that made me laugh. I love the Southern Wedding series, so sad to see it end. Who does not love a family that always have each other’s backs? I thoroughly enjoyed Mine to Keep, who does not love a small-town office romance love story.     Caine was content in his life. He had a daughter he loved, a business that kept him busy and he thought that was enough. Until Grace walked into his life as his new PA. What I loved most about Caine was his inability to control his tongue. He was always saying things in the heat of the moment that weren’t well thought out because Grace scrambled his brain.

    Grace and Caine had some great banter. They both gave as good as they got, but Grace never let Caine get away with anything. I loved the way Grace pushed all his buttons. Even after they got together, Grace never stopped pushing Caine.

    I loved Caine’s devotion to his daughter. He had to learn how to share the load with Grace and Grace taught him what having a true partner could be like. I liked that he put his daughter first but still carved out time for Grace.

    I always love the Barnes family. I love Casey as a grandfather and Quinn as a dad. Caine ended up being the perfect partner for Grace and knew he had to win over her family in order for their relationship to work out.

    The story is fine, the characters are fine, the plot is fine. Nothing new or unexpected. However, does the author have any experience with aging? At some point, people get old or even (god forbid) die. Billy has got to be 100 (4 generations in the family) and not slowing down even a little. Casey & Olivia are grandparents, yet there are absolutely no concerns. I realize this is escapism literature but this family is pushing its limits.

    I’ve read and listened to Mine To Keep three times already. I don’t know how many times I wanted to message the author to let her know how much I loved the book. Grace was everything I loved in a heroine, she was smart, had a great fashion sense, her quirky personality, her sense of humor had me laughing so hard I had tears running down my face. Caine was so grumpy, a single dad so focus on being the best dad to his little I think he forgot how to relax and have fun. Grace walked in and brought Caine to his knees. Cane was curious about Grace the moment he saw her but he was hesitant for validation reasons but couldn’t get her out of his mind. The chemistry between Grace and Caine was hot, when they finally got together things heated up fast and I have to say it was beautiful, romantic, funny and messy in the best way I wanted someone to talk to about this book, unfortunately I had no one. Mine to Promise is a delightful, swoony book that should be moved up the rank in every romance reader’s TBR.

    I ADORED Grace and Caine's story so much! If this is the last book in the Southern Wedding series, it's the perfect way to go out! This amazing love story had it ALL....the swoon, the banter, the family connections (both blood and chosen), the humour, the chemistry was OFF THE CHARTS!!! And then there was Meadow, Caine's daughter, who will steal your heart immediately!

    I really hope that we get MORE because I need Caine's brother, Nash's, story!!! Some of the most hilarious moments in this book involve him and I just NEED to know that he will get his HEA! But whatever Ms. Madison decides to write, I'll read....she consistently delivers everything I LOVE about a romance!!!

    Caine is just HOT!!! This story was everything i needed to read and loved how Grace gave Caine sass from the moment they meet. I loved this story so much and Meadow stole may heart so much. I have loved this series and so glad to get another second gen story for the southern series. I loved Quinn & Willow's story so much so enjoyed being back in that world. Casey is one of my favs so i am so glad that we got plenty of him in this story and he reminds me of Matthew so much haha!! I am so sad this series has ended but hope that we get some more second gen of the southern series in the future as loved visiting with them all.

    The characters. Both Caine and Grace are so loveable. I laughed a lot at Grace and her reactions to things. I was shocked when they started hooking up! But it made me love her more!
    Meadow is absolutely gorgeous and the stuff she says (from me having had 2 four year olds) I just genuinely laughed at.
    Would 100% recommend this book!!!!

    Grace did act like a child. Caine was her boss at the end of the day and not once did she act professionally around him. She kept running away from him for stupid reasons. It was like the author couldn’t think of any drama for the storyline.
