        This is my first book by this author. I usually try to get my books on KU and it takes a lot to get me to pay additionally for a book. Especially since I thought this one was kind of expensive for a shorter book. I read the reviews and it seemed like something I would love so I took a chance. I was SO glad that I did.

        If you’re looking for a book with a truly amazing hero—then this is the book for you. This was truly a beautiful story-and one that I would read again and again. As I said, I didn’t read any of the other books in this series, but I didn’t feel lost at all. I am definitely going to purchase Kraken and Titan. I can’t wait to read those now!

Im glad he didn't try to fight his feelings for her like some do with an age gap and past trauma. We was still patient and loving. I wish they still would of had a baby of their own. Would have like to see them make the baby in an unconventional way, but still had a happy ending.

        These Hades Abyss boys are my all-time favorite of Harley Wylde's MC alphas! I absolutely adore them but Patriot is number one! I dare anyone to find a sweeter, more protective guy out there. He takes such wonderful care of Maryann, her trust in him is never tested, never bent. He is there for her no matter what and she deserves that. Maryann takes the time to heal but she doesn't cling to her trauma. If anything, it taught her to trust how someone makes her feel. Patriot makes her feel safe and valuable, important to him, especially once he shows her that he wants her in his life. So she pushes forward even when she is scared and nervous, she wants to try for him. This was so romantic and just made my heart soar, as cliche as that sounds. I loved them both so much and seeing it all come together for them at the end was simply perfect! All the stars for Maryann and Patriot!

        We've met Maryanne in the previous books, we know everything that she went through, one would think after what happened she couldn't have survived but she did. Not only that but she was rescued by the man that became the love of her life, she now have a life she didn't think she could have. This was a very good story and sad but a happy one for me, loved it.

        Poor MaryAnne was kidnapped and abused by a rival MC club then sold to a whorehouse. Finally, she is rescued by the Hades Abyss MC and they think they are helping her by putting her in The Dunbrooke Institute where she is once again abused. I’m so glad that they rescued her from there. I loved how protective and patient Patriot was with her. I liked how he was such a big softie that he took in stray animals. There is the usual drama with the club sluts, but this time there was a twist. There is some action along with some suspense that keeps you turning the pages to see what happens next. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.
