As an introduction to the fantasy series, The Tomes of Brynjar, The Wailing Willow introduces readers to the exploits of fascinating characters in a medieval fantasy universe through an absorbing storyline and humorous narration.

The Wailing Willow - Great Read
Brian - I finished the book on during a flight to LAX today, honestly. Fantastic read. I also liked the length of the book. Excellent writing, great humor, I like how you mix modern day adages like “rip the bandaid off” when referring to pulling the spider web silk from the would on his leg. I’m sure there’s a literary term for that, but you used that device several times, and I found myself chuckling while reading the book. Great graphic depictions of the physical, the creatures we encountered, humor, just everything about the book was great. I give you an A+
Not recommended
While the humor had potential, I couldn’t get past the grammar and spelling mistakes, and mixed metaphors. Is the story in some ancient mythical age or the twentieth century? This author should have kept working on this draft before publishing it.
