Purchase options and add-ons
"By the time I got to know Paige Summer's reality, I had become one of his 31 known victims. A number of incidents happened in those years I lived with him, that were constant indicators that there was something seriously wrong about that person."
The Sociopath's Puppet tells the heart-wrenching memoir of Arianna's struggle when she finds herself stuck in a terrible relationship after leaving a 10-year alcoholic & abusive marriage. At first, Paige seemed to be the one person she had longed for, but as the situation unfolds, she realizes how she had been unwittingly trapped and entangled in his web. He, bit by bit, strips her of everything in her life. Not only does she learn that Paige was not who he portrayed himself to be, but also a diagnosed Sociopath and a serial criminal.
A cautionary narrative of manipulation, deception, physical abuse, theft, arrests, drugs, mental hospitals, guns and death.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 14, 2024Arianna Griffith's memoir, 'The Sociopath's Puppet,' is a harrowing dive into the depths of manipulation and deceit by a diagnosed sociopath.
This true story, capturing her journey of entrapment and eventual escape, is a chilling reminder of the resilience needed to survive such harrowing circumstances.
It's a four-star read for its raw honesty and the light it shines on the darkness of sociopathic manipulation, making it a crucial read for anyone seeking understanding or healing from similar experiences.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 4, 2023“Sociopath’s Puppet” proves that nothing is unthinkable or undoable in a sociopathic mind. We’ve all met unsavory characters and try to distance ourselves or flee. The villain in this memoir takes narcissism to the next horrifying level. Griffith outlines the love bombing/ensnarement phase followed by shock and disbelief when the villain’s true character begins to emerge. Each disaster seems worse than the last, but the master manipulator has an excuse for everything and also plays the pity party to garner sympathy. The takeaway from Griffth’s must read book is that she ultimately breaks away stronger and wiser, leaving a powerful message for others who might find themselves entrapped by a sociopath.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 5, 2024The Sociopath’s Puppet by Arianna Griffith was a painful read. Not because of shortness of the memoir but because of the victim mentality that it carried. I hate that Griffith experienced these things.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 29, 2023Arianna did a wonderful job telling what she endured during her years with a sociopath and was still able to escape and overcome her years of abuse with this man. Great read and eye opener to know what to look for and be able to recognize the red flags when you’re with someone that just doesn’t seem to be right.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 8, 2023I waited for the book to arrive and when I opened the book the sentences were cut off. I couldn't even fill in the words. And the book was printed upside down. So the words were cut off and upside down
Hard to read a book when the printing was messed up. But I was told it was a good book to read. I started a return but looks like I'll have to reorder and wait another week or two. I don't know, we'll see

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting and Informative
This is a book that tells the story of a woman who gets trapped in a marriage because of the things that happened to her during her past, which influenced her choices for her future, and how easily one can be influenced by someone who is lacking all sense of goodness.
A very good read.

This story really gave me shivers. But it was so good. Well written, with lots of twists and turns I did not see coming. Highly recommended!

4.0 out of 5 stars Strange choices
The Arianna's decisions and choices are extremely weird to me. This is supposed to be a true story but some of the situations feel very unrealistic and more so allegations rather than facts.
