This book was hard for me to read. Being a friend with the author, it was heartbreaking to read what she went through and the things this guy did to her emotionally, spiritually and physically. Well written and I encourage everyone to read it. Learn how these predators operate and maybe you can help someone you know in a bad situation. A must read for young adults to spot the signs. I read it cover to cover in a few hours. Will be reading it again soon.

    “Sociopath’s Puppet” proves that nothing is unthinkable or undoable in a sociopathic mind. We’ve all met unsavory characters and try to distance ourselves or flee. The villain in this memoir takes narcissism to the next horrifying level. Griffith outlines the love bombing/ensnarement phase followed by shock and disbelief when the villain’s true character begins to emerge. Each disaster seems worse than the last, but the master manipulator has an excuse for everything and also plays the pity party to garner sympathy. The takeaway from Griffth’s must read book is that she ultimately breaks away stronger and wiser, leaving a powerful message for others who might find themselves entrapped by a sociopath.
