She does it again!
Particularly enjoyed the slightly new formatting of various poems - the stylistic choice was very well done.
Overall, these poems hit home with the peak of the pandemic striking when she wrote this. Absolutely raw and real as always.
And the HIMYM reference made my heart swell.

- Reviewed in the United States on May 23, 2021I am new to poetry ,so not sure what to say except this was real , honest and meant a lot to the author and to us readers for her to put this out there. I am sure each reader will be able to relate to something , if not many things in these pages .

- Reviewed in the United States on May 30, 2021This is the first book of poetry that I’ve ever read. You could literally feel the emotions with each poem. Such raw, heart wrenching feelings. This represents how many of us are actually feeling at the moment❤️.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sensitive poetry of breakup
This is a unique collection of sensitively written poems dealing with something everyone wishes doesn't happen to them - a breakup.
There are quite a number of lines that make you want to re-read them. I recommend this collection.

4.0 out of 5 stars Hits in the feels
I read this in one sitting! Isolation is an emotional, enjoyable collection of poems about love, friendship, isolation, and surviving in the middle of a pandemic, with some beautiful writing throughout. Looking forward to reading more of Shannon’s work.

5.0 out of 5 stars emotion and beautiful words
This is another beautiful collection of poems by Shannon O’Connor. The words are very poignant as they relate to emotions and strong feelings of isolation, friendship and love, but also the current pandemic sweeping the world and turning lives upside down. When Ms O’Connor puts pen to paper her emotions flow freely and as you read each word you are enveloped by the true meaning of each and every word. Outstanding once again by Ms O’Connor.
