Born in Canada in 1969, John Broadview spent most of his youth roaming across North America. He now lives in the Canadian north with his wife and spends his spare time fostering rescue dogs. In addition to writing, he has worked with varying degrees of success as a sound engineer, a cook, a fish cutter, a musician, and a welder.
John fell in love with combat sports while watching UFC 1: The Beginning on a rented VHS tape, and immediately set out to destroy both of his knees while training in martial arts. He is still in love (mildly obsessed) with MMA and committed to helping fight fans deepen their understanding of the sport to improve their betting skills.
