I didn't think that I needed a sapphic retelling of the Hades and Persephone myth, but I was not disappointed at all. It ticked the boxes in telling a great story, it also was quite unique. I was enthralled from the first page and kept turning the page. I'm excited to see more where this goes. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Hades and Persephone Revisited In this story, Maia, new to the job of Hades, meets with her Persephone counterpart, Penelope. There first few meetings are rocky, but once they start to work together, romance blooms. I really enjoyed Arizona Tape’s re-interpretation of Greek mythology, with the gods and goddess as jobs rather than people, and then tells the stories of the people that fill the roles. The resulting stories are fresh and unique - I really enjoyed this one.
