Amy and Ambrose meet her ex Flora as they leave the courthouse she is wondering what her man thinks but is reassured that he is cool. Flora calls about a case the man she is defending she believes to be innocent Ambrose doesn’t want to step on the detective’s toes who handled the case but they do find discrepancies in the report and he asks if he minded if they double check some info, he agrees and they go see the defendant and are asking each other questions that require more investigation.

Not the first story by Ms. Greenwood I've read...but the first story in this series that I've come across and I look forward to catching up. Amethyst's (which happens to be my birthstone and favorite) Wand Shop is an interesting place to visit and I highly recommend it. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

It's always awkward when the your current significant other meets your ex, this is kind of what happens when Flora asks for Amy and Ambrose's help. As always, the author's have a way leaving the reader feeling all of the character's emotions and understanding what is going on with them as the story progress. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
