Ah, back at Grim Academy with another prophesy to unravel. Audrey is the eldest of the 12 sisters, and the one who happen to overhear the foreboding tale (quite by accident). Whisked off without proper time to warn her siblings, she feels pressured to undermine the prophesy alone if she must. Eugene has a different kind of pressure on his shoulders. He can't possibly live up to the feats of his father, yet there the bar is held. He is a kind, caring, strong, handsom, intelligent young man, and he quickly forms a liking for Audrey (which she reciprocates). Will he be the key to breaking the prophesy, or will Audrey and her sisters dance their way into oblivion? I absolutely love Laura Greenwood's series. Her characters are relatable, likeable, and realistic (allowing for fairy-tale magic). The settings are always spectacular and the plot/pacing keeps readers interest and pulls you through the story with ease. Happy Reading Y'all 📚

The Twelve Dancing Princesses was a story that always captured my imagination when I was younger. I loved the way the author played with the details of the fairy tale to bring us this unique perspective on it. I thought Audrey and Eugene, (I had a serious “Tangled” moment, there,) were pretty darned adorable together. I really appreciated the way the author showed us the pair each trying to overcome their parent’s expectations. Now, I can’t wait to see what will happen next at Grimm Academy.

A dance to die for! Princess Audrey is a new student at Grimm Academy. She has been looking forward to a school that won't treat her differently because she is a royal. Like many other students there she also has a prophesy. If she doesn't find a way to break it, she will die. That would be a shame since she had just met a young man she might like to know better. This is a sweet story with a happy ending. It's a good book for a lazy afternoon.
