Charlotte seems to be adapting well to her new veterinary apprenticeship Handling the phoenixes seems pretty exciting, with mating, egg fertilization, and hatching on the horizon her relationship with her friend seems a bit fraught with romantic overtones- and not more than that- for now at least the Sanctuary, the inhabitants and keepers, students and visitors- a fascinating bunch! Another great book that introduces us to even more of the magical creatures at the sanctuary. I love all the different types of magical creatures and how well introducing them blends with the story.
