Apprentice Of The Dead (1) A very interesting story. Ani is doing well and a few surprises along the way. She has always been drawn to Anubis. I enjoyed the story and I look forward to reading what happens next. Initiate of the Jackal (2) There is so much going on with Nik and Ani. I think it is more than friendship. Apprentice of the Dead As a lover of all things Egyptian and mythological, I thoroughly enjoyed this story. There’s just enough detail to introduce us to the world and its characters without being weighed down with the minutia. I’m already in love with Ani and Matia, and can’t wait to see what the discoveries of this book mean for her future and that of Anubis’ priesthood. Initiate Of The Jackal I really enjoyed the opportunity to see what Ani, Matia, and Nik are learning at the temple.
