One heroine wants the cow, but her owner is not convinced she should sell. And relocating is no simple matter. Guess it is going to take some persuasion. This is book three of the series, but it is written as a standalone. No prior reading is required. This is a science fiction romance of the alien FF variety. This is the first book in the series I've read and can confirm that it is a standalone novel with references to previous storylines without revisiting those stories too intensely. A charming and easy read. There's not a lot of world building, but it also doesn't need it; there is likely more detail in the previous books, but that's a side note that doesn't detract from the light, bright, fun read for the afternoon. The characters are likeable, the focus is on the budding romance and who hasn't dreamed of some attractive alien making an appearance and whisking them away for a HEA ending. Will certainly be going back and reading the earlier books in the series while waiting for cousin Heather's own happy ending to be released.
