<p>Simone Coetser is a South African-born poet, educator, and advocate currently living in Aberdeen, Scotland. Her work explores identity, belonging, faith, politics, motherhood, mental health, and the quiet revolutions that shape a life. Raised between cultures and across boundaries, she writes from the intersections of personal history and collective memory.</p><p> </p><p>Her poetry is rooted in lived experience—from growing up in post-apartheid South Africa to navigating migration, healing, and self-discovery. She brings the same passion for justice and empowerment to her writing that she brings to her work in education, where she champions equity, accessibility, and the transformative power of learning.</p><p> </p><p>Simone is a lifelong believer in the strength of storytelling. <em>Between Boundaries and Belonging</em> is her debut poetry collection.</p>
