<strong>Lawna Mackie is a </strong>Canadian author who writes stories centered on love—hope for love when it feels out of reach, and the fight to hold onto it when it’s finally found, even against all odds. Whether set in the real world or in fantasy realms, love is always at the heart of her work.<br>She writes across many genres, including contemporary, suspense, adventure, fantasy, and paranormal romance. Animals or fantastical creatures appear in every story she writes, helping shape the journey and adding moments of meaning, comfort, or guidance along the way.<br>Lawna is also venturing into nonfiction and has begun her first book inspired by her experiences with the wild horses of Alberta’s Eastern Slopes. She lives in Canada, where both nature and imagination continue to fuel her storytelling.<br>
