"Just trust the magic within yourself." An important wiccan leader said once that magic is simply a change of perception with ourselves; then we all have magic deep within. That thought changed me and in some intrinsic way it is the backbone of this book. Lilianya always wondered if she'd do more harm than good. She blamed her self for her parents' death as she thought her actions betrayed them. She wasn't very good at anything. She worked too hard and completed things too slowly. Until she got out of her own way. Paedyn also came from a place of brokenness that had left him alone. He and Lilianya had been close friends as children but got separated as they grew. Then Paedyn gets hurt and when he comes to,a new spark rekindles. Meanwhile the Resistance is fighting the Empire which must be defeated.
