3.5* Thank you to the author for an e-arc! I love a good romance of course and this new release was good!! I love the whole band and touring idea and it was set in the UK which was awesome! I also really value Aly's relationship with Emily. I think the slow burn was a little prolonged and I wished Alys was able to open up a little sooner, but her full circle growth was strong at the end of the book and I felt proud of her as a reader. Let me also amend by saying that slow burn is not my favorite, but I think Bevan did do it really well to build the trust between her two main characters. I would definitely read the next book in this series because I have a feeling it'll be about a certain bestie and a certain drummer boy, but we shall see. This was a quick read and a cute story that I enjoyed reading! Also Ryan was definitely hot and I love the lead singer of the rock band vibe!!

Took a long time to get from point A to point B. I got tired of reading a couple of times, unable to take the effusion of words, but the basic plot was so compelling I just couldn't quit. I would caution to have a good deal of patience while tackling this novel but I do recommend it, though I'm usually not much for rockstar romances. This has the frenetic pace I typically associate with the subgenre as well as the great egos (and related insecurities they cover.) But the characters manage to be lovable despite it all. The plot borders on melodramatic while the writer chooses words which bring the situation to life but never detracts from it. If it were turned into me as an assignment, I'd rate it a solid. B+.

This is my first Morgana Bevan and I absolutely loved it! This is a great rockstar romance. I love how Ryan is with Alys. Alys has been burned so many times by men, cheated on, unknowingly been the other woman & ghosted. She has walls so high that it seems like nobody will ever break them down, but Ryan is definitely up for the challenge. Both Ryan & Alys go through such a change in order to be together. They both have their own pasts that they need to overcome, I absolutely loved their journey.

Morgana Bevan is a sucker for a rock star romance, particularly if it involves a soul-destroying breakup or strangers waking up in Vegas. She’s a contemporary romance author based in Wales. When Morgana’s not writing steamy rock star and movie star romances, she’s working in TV production in the UK.
