Willem Mulder

Willem Mulder was born in Utrecht, Netherlands, grew up on the streets of Ondiep in Holland. Being trading 35 years physiotherapy equipment he early retired in 2014 to spend more time for his favorite hobby and passion since his childhood, writing books and columns. Humor has a prominent place in his books and the most often comment he gets is that his books are easy to read, exciting and with laughter.

His first book “Dirty Money” in 2013 was based on a true story when his credit card was hacked and used for gambling on websites. This detective-story was Thriller of the Month June 2014 on bol.com in The Netherlands. It has been republished by himself in January 2018.

His second book was a non-fiction roman ”Utrecht van Toen" 2014 street-stories of the years 50-60. Humor and adventure told and saw by the eyes of a kid in the years 1950-60. The book got a place in a museum about the neighborhood and several libraries. It has been republished by himself in January 2018.

In 2017 came “The Temple of Greed. It starts in the Vatican by controlling the books an invoice showed up about a shipment of gold. But the cargo is still missing. It was the beginning of a chase in Europe and ends on the canals of Utrecht in the Netherlands. This book was nominated for the Indie-Award 2017 in the Netherlands and got a place in several public libraries. It has been republished by himself in January 2018.
