Australian author, Astrid Fick, is from South-East Queensland, where she writes across multiple genres, predominantly literary fiction with ties to other genres such as romance and crime. Her stories raise awareness for various topical issues, with the main one being domestic and family violence. She enjoys bringing her tertiary education in Criminology to life, hoping to provide comfort and relatability to readers who may be going through something similar to her heroines.

When she isn't writing (or studying), Astrid enjoys spending time with her family and doing her plethora of hobbies. While she may run on coffee, you can often find her curled up rewatching Bridgerton or Bones (with the occasional glass of wine).
