Jim Rogan is an agent of the Tolerance Bureau. The Bureau is the new federal agency empowered to make sure no one's feelings ever get hurt again. Offend too many people on social media, dare to question politically correct orthodoxy, and the Bureau will come looking for you. That's where Jim Rogan comes in.

His job is to drag such offenders away in the night, and make sure they get incarcerated in a federal re-education center for sensitivity and diversity training. Jim really believes in his job, he really believes he's doing what's best for the insensitive "bigots" he arrests - that they are getting the re-education they need - until the day he discovers the awful truth about what really happens inside those camps.

The story follows Hillary Wells, famous astrophysicist, who was crazy enough to think that facts are more important than feelings, and offends a few too many people on social media. That's now considered violence and gets you labelled a cerebral terrorist. Hillary tries to run, but the Tolerance Bureau has assigned Special Agent Jim Rogan to track her down and bring her in for mandatory sensitivity training in a re-education camp.

But when Jim discovers the shattering truth about the re-education camps, he's faced with an impossible decision, and no matter what direction he takes, his life - and the life of everyone he knows and loves - will be forever changed.

The Tolerance Bureau is set in a near future that is all too plausible... in which woke PC culture runs the country and disagreeing is a thoughtcrime.
