What starts as a harmless indulgence turns into passionate gluttony when she falls for the extremely seductive and mysterious pastry chef, Nicolas. Vi satiates in his sweet treats and possessive words, all which reminds her of the life she used to live, and the woman she once wanted to be.

But opening up to Nicolas about her past would be a deal-breaker for sure.

The original version of this short story first appeared in the anthology Craving You, released by And You Press, an imprint of Nicole Frail Books, in January 2025. It has since been edited and expanded to spend more time with Vi and her story.
