Craig Davis has been a sports journalist in South Florida for more than four decades, covering all of the major team sports as well as niche sports including fishing and boating, and has recently published his first novel, “Tail of the Lizard.”

​​​​​​​ It was during a 10-year run as an outdoors writer that ideas for characters, setting and events of “Tail of the Lizard” took root.

​​​​​​​ Craig lives near Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with Fran and writes about their travels for Craigslegztravels.com. He covers the Miami Dolphins and other local teams for Five Reasons Sports Network and is a sports copy editor for the Miami Herald.
