Morgan Shaw’s life is about to be upended. He has a loving marriage to Abbie, who is a successful author and podcaster; he owns a beautiful house in the country; and he volunteers for a non-profit to raise money for leukemia research. All of that is threatened when a secret from the past he has keep buried for over a decade resurfaces.
One night, Morgan’s best friend Tommy brings his new girlfriend Christine to the Shaws’ house for dinner. Morgan has an uneasy feeling about her, which turns to panic when he realizes who she really is. Twelve years ago, before he met Abbie, he knew Christine by a different name and appearance. Their interactions had devastating consequences for both of them—and now she intends to get what she believes Morgan owes her, regardless of who may be hurt. Or killed.
Paradigm is a mystery/suspense thriller with twists and turns that will keep the audience guessing. Written in screenplay format, the story unfolds in a nonlinear fashion where each revelation from the past creates new understanding of the characters and for the events unfolding in the present right up to the shocking conclusion.
