Having recently completed my role as a senior executive, where I focused on developing initiatives to ensure the organization I worked for lived out its mission and values, I chose to retire to something—not from something.

 My wife and I have three extraordinary adult children, each with an amazing partner. Together, they have created families of their own, and we now have the joy of eight wonderful grandchildren—I call them the grands. Each brings a unique story, boundless potential, and immeasurable joy. This is the true wealth of a shared lifetime. Our family is my source of inspiration, and our many family gatherings are treasured.

Writing is now my joy and a way for me to continue engaging in work that feels meaningful. Much of my writing is non-fiction, focused on reflection, growth, and thoughtful living. In addition to writing, I also share information and resources through my wedding website.

Hiking, gardening, traveling, coffee in the morning, wine in the evening, and any time with my wife, Shannon, whom I adore, are things that add to my tremendously enjoyable life.
