The Art, Science, and Strategy of Longevity: An Expansive Exploration of Aging, Health, and Human Potential

Don Howard
Don Howard, MD, PhD, is a physician-scientist, medical leader, and entrepreneur recognized for groundbreaking contributions to personalized diagnostics, pathology, and biotechnology. Over more than three decades, he has successfully bridged clinical medicine, scientific research, and visionary leadership—most notably as founder and CEO of CellNetix Pathology and Laboratories, one of the nation's leading private pathology firms. At CellNetix, Don spearheaded innovative programs in molecular oncology and precision medicine, creating a transformative model for the delivery of pathology services and cancer diagnostics. He has also held prominent academic and clinical roles, serving as Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Washington and Chief of Pathology at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle.
With a PhD in experimental pathology from the University of British Columbia and an undergraduate degree in philosophy from Boston University, Don brings a unique blend of scientific rigor and philosophical insight to his medical practice. He now collaborates closely with his wife and professional partner, Ioulia, integrating personalized medicine, longevity strategies, and healthcare innovation. As co-authors, their thought-provoking works aim to redefine aging, optimize longevity, and enhance overall quality of life. Together, they offer complementary expertise and a shared commitment to reshaping how we think about aging—as clinicians, as partners, and as people.
