About the author

Fiona Tarr

Fiona lives in Noosa, Australia with her husband and not far from her two young adult sons. She runs a small family business involving tourism and watersports.

When she is not writing, you will likely find her kitesurfing, stand up paddle surfing, travelling (in Australia at the moment) or volunteering in some capacity.

Fiona is the great niece of Australian literary author and war correspondent, George Johnston who is best known for his book My Brother Jack which was made into a mini series with the ABC. Although Fiona doesn't write with the literary style of her Uncle George, she does write a compelling story.

Culture, faith, philosophy and sociology are intriguing to Fiona and these topics are at the heart of her fantasy novels. An avid people watcher, Fiona uses her skills to develop deep characters that you'll love or hate in equal measure.

Fiona has recently released her first crime ficiton novel which features her familiar fast paced style with deep, real and relatable characters and her signature intricate plot. Like jigsaw puzzles, she likes to pull all the pieces together and crime ficiton offers an even more rewarding way to get her puzzle fix.

She is continuing to write The Priestess Chronicles series and the new Foxy Mystery series side by side. Why not take a look at her latest release?
