Roger Wood was born in Lancashire, a former industrial county in Northern England. 
He now lives in the English Midlands.
Roger has graduated four times from three different universities and has never attended a graduation ceremony.   All four of his degrees involve Drama and Literature.
Roger began his career in the professional theatre, then entered local politics, worked as a manager in the advice sector and is a long-serving magistrate in his local city.
