Emily, you betrayed our friendship in the most hurtful way possible. You knew I loved Mark, and you pursued him just to hurt me. You laughed at my pain, and you mocked my dreams. Lisa then played the recordings and read excerpts from the letter. The crowd's murmurs grew into shocked gasps as Emily's betrayal unfolded before them. Emily's face turned pale, and Mark looked bewildered, clearly unaware of the extent of Emily's deceit
