PEOPLE DON'T CALL 9-1-1 WHEN THEY'RE HAVING A GOOD DAY.

Dani Holden's neighbor has disappeared, her friend's granddaughter needs a place to stay, and Dani has been subpoenaed to testify at a money laundering hearing. To complicate matters, a local sheriff’s deputy wants to get to know Dani better.

Dani has only two weeks left to prepare for her crucial dispatcher test, which she urgently needs to pass.

When a fire breaks out in Dani's rural Iowa town, she is the one who takes the 9-1-1 call. After investigations reveal that the fire was intentionally set, the authorities pull her friend's granddaughter in for questioning.

Determined to uncover the truth behind the incident, Dani sets out to unravel the mystery at its core, even if it hits too close to home.
