Roxanne Gail Hodge uses her wisdom and vast experience to write inspirational books, novels, and poetry to entertain and inspire hope. Her walk with the Lord has been her solace while surviving many of the worst life-changing events. Through His strength, she didn't just survive; she overcame. Her passions are writing thrillers, poetry, short stories, reading, retrospection, and painting. Roxanne has two daughters and four grandchildren who reside in Texas.

THE LONG ROAD BACK, the first novel in the Monique and Reed Adventure Series, was published in 2019. Roxanne's knowledge of publishing grew, which prompted her to completely revamp and put out a second edition of THE LONG ROAD BACK, published in the winter of 2020.

Roxanne's other works are her compilation of poetry collected from her life of journaling. To honor her readers' requests, Roxanne birthed her second novel, BENEATH THE GLITTER, meant to highlight this modern-day story of the worst kind of slavery. This novel is intended to educate the public on these despicable crimes. The emphasis is to honor the law enforcement agencies as they heroically give their time and talents to free the enslaved. They valiantly leave behind their wives and children each day to rid the world of the scum, never knowing if they will return to their loved ones that night.
