An attempt to steal her throne found Princess Aurora kidnapped and brutalised. She knew more horrors awaited if she left her rescue to others. So she enlisted the help of a fellow captive, a mysterious peasant boy, to attempt a daring escape. The friendship forged in hardship soon blossomed into true feelings between princess and peasant, but both knew they could never be.
