Robert G. Longpré

Robert is a retired educator with thirty-five years in the profession. He was a teacher, a school principal, a Director of Education, and a university professor during those thirty-five years. A second career emerged as a mental-health counsellor in the 1990s. Robert still offers life-coaching services now in his retirement.

Robert first published in 1968, poetry in a youth journal. In 1977 the book called Sakitawak: Bicentennial of Ile-a-la-Crosse was published. During the 1970s a number of newspaper editorials were published in Saskatchewan and Manitoba, Canada. In the 1990s Robert published chapters in books that dealt with Computer-Mediated Communication.

Since the last attempt at retirement, Robert has focused on publishing a series of biographical books, as well as a series of novels and poetry. Robert is the publisher and editor of Retired Eagle Books, a registered publishing company in Saskatchewan and Canada.

Robert is a member of the Canadian Authors Association, the Saskatchewan Writers Guild and the Writers Guild of Alberta.
