No two days are ever the same, what is routine and uneventful one day may be misfortune or an oversight the next. Turning fears and misgivings into trivia and humour saves this poet being stressed over each unlucky or irritating incident.

This book of verse is based on the poet's experiences. In her mind, small issues can quickly escalate into worrying problems and, by writing about some of them, many become innocuous (except those that fly, crawl or buzz; which will always remain a source of stress!), or are completely dissolved into a harmless mishap, and so nothing but a mass of humour or mild thought-provoking lines of verse. It is hoped the contents will require little explanation and which, it is hoped, most can relate to; a book which may bring about pleasant and light-hearted thoughts, a refreshing and fun look at living from another's perspective. Writing verses, the author considers, is her anaesthetic to whatever may try to upset or hurt. Words numb and dilute the intensity of certain situations, weakening the strength of any ensuing pain and, by the end of writing, all (or at least some) pain is alleviated and any upset is smiled on rather than cried over! And AngieD hopes that reading those verses will do the same for you!

An entertaining book of short verses aimed at all who want to have a good smile; good simple reading, requiring very little explanation. A book of fun, love and musings! Let's laugh at the mishaps, right the wrongs, eat and enjoy, love and be happy, and appreciate this wonderful world. So, move over a little Pam Ayres, there's room for us both!
