Overhead yellow lights were replaced with multicolored slow strobing lights emanating from the walls. Our room drowned in pulsing phases of black and red. The large red strobe seemed to imitate the beat of a heart. Loops of the ballad-like drums and keys played over and over, letting us find our stride. I did my best to disappear in the moment with her. Swaying from side to side with her, letting her take the lead. Opening my eyes, I was met with hers.

'Don't lie to me. Would you want to do this forever with me?' she shouted near my ear.

'Why can't we?' I shouted back.
