When ten-year-old Jimmy Tucker volunteers to walk his neighbor's dog, he has no idea what he's getting into!

Jimmy and Lance, a border collie, immediately become best friends. Trouble is, when he's not enjoying his time with Jimmy, Lance has to keep doing what he's done his entire life—live outside all alone on his owner's property.
