Darin Templet, a native of Luling, Louisiana and a graduate of Nicholls State University, currently works as a special education and math teacher at Rio Rancho High School. 

Darin enjoys several hobbies when not writing, with amateur astronomy being his most prevalent. He is a current member of the Rio Rancho Astronomical Society and a former member of the Ponchartrain Astronomical Society and the Baton Rouge Astronomical Society. Darin also loves reading science fiction, fantasy, thrillers, mysteries, and any story with interesting characters. His favorite spy thrillers are the James Bond and Jack Ryan series, as well as Mission Impossible. He is also an avid Law and Order fan and enjoys classic rock and '80s music.

Darin presently lives in Rio Rancho, New Mexico with his wife Melanie.
