Lianyu Tan has always been fascinated by the darker side of love: obsessive yearning and monstrous desires. She usually writes dark lesbian romance with a fantastical twist. She is the author of The Wicked and the Willing, an F/F gothic horror vampire novel set in 1920s Singapore, and Captive in the Underworld, an F/F dark fantasy retelling of the Hades/Persephone myth. The upcoming anthology Best Lesbian Erotica of the Year, Volume 6 includes one of her short stories.
