jamie folsom
Psychological crime fiction that cuts to the bone.
Jamie Folsom crafts suspenseful narratives that explore the darkest corridors of the human mind. With a deep interest in criminal psychology and forensic detail, her stories pull readers into tightly wound investigations where nothing is as it seems.
Her debut work, What the Dead Remember, introduces Detective Avery Locke — a sharp-minded investigator haunted by a cold case that refuses to stay buried. When ritual-style murders begin appearing along the Atlantic coast, Avery must confront a killer who believes death itself is a message.
Jamie was born and raised in Miles City, Montana. She has traveled extensively across the United States, South Korea, Germany, Kuwait, Iraq, and beyond. She served in the military as a firefighter and has worked in nursing, entrepreneurship, and creative industries.
After years of navigating combat-related PTSD, Jamie found her voice through writing — and through her wolf dog, Cinderella, who became both her anchor and her closest confidante. Today, she channels that hard-won clarity into stories that refuse to look away from the truth.
