Rob Bleckly was born in Port Pirie, South Australia, in 1947. He has written stories since his teens but only seriously since 1996 when he founded the Blackwood Writers Group. From then on, he began finishing and submitting his collection of stories. His first submission to L. Ron Hubbard's Writers of the Future Contest in 1997 won and Honorable Mention. Over the next 20 years while submitting flash fiction to antipodean and stories to Australian small press, he wrote The Restoration Legends trilogy. He lives with his wife Felicity in Strathalbyn, a small country town in the Adelaide Hills.
