About the author

Michael Kroft

Michael Kroft considers himself an accidental novelist. Being a writer of short stories of various genres, his initial story of Mr. Rosen and His 43Lb Anxiety started out as a simple short story, but because of his love for the characters, the work grew into a full novel.

With his newfound love for writing novels, Michael turned his first novel, On Herring Cove Road: Mr. Rosen and His 43Lb Anxiety, into the not-so-nuclear family saga series Herring Cove Road, with each following novel also in the contemporary and family saga genres but with subgenres of a Murder Mystery, Crime, and a love story.

With the series Herring Cove Road completed, Michael is now working on the first novel of an amusing, heartwarming and historically-accurate family saga that begins with an English immigrant, William Lovely, and his younger brother, James, coming to America in 1715 through indentured servitude, and then follows the future nine generations up until 1905. The series is tentatively called The Lovely American Family Tree, and the first novel in the series is tentatively titled Indentured Love.

Michael Kroft is from Halifax, Nova Scotia, single and, apparently, with too much time on his hands.

Michael Kroft's current works:

The four-volume family saga series Herring Cove Road:

1) On Herring Cove Road: Mr. Rosen and His 43Lb Anxiety
2) Still on Herring Cove Road: Hickory, Dickory, Death
3) Off Herring Cove Road: The Problem Being Blue
4) Before Herring Cove Road: Ruth Goldman and the Nincompoop (A Love Story)
