Samuel J. Hanna was born in Kansas, but spent his early childhood in Thailand. He graduated from Grand Valley State University in Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in history and political science, and has spent the last four years back in Thailand teaching English while writing fiction in his spare time. Now that he has finally published something, he has moved to Australia to devote more time to writing. His passions include history, linguistics, space travel, and sailing ships.
