2014 AWARD WINNING - SCIENCE FICTION EMBEDDED WITHIN CLIMATE CHANGE
In 2014 before the mass global surge in interest about climate change author Ming Wei wanted to highlight the potential future dangers of climate change and global warming to the world. He did this by creating the ocean world book series, embedding stories into an environment destroyed by global warming and riddled with human pollution, extreme weather patterns, and many more dangers left behind by the human race. The main characters might be sea-creatures and birds but there is a human side to their character. This series proved to be exceptionally popular with readers, many thousands of people have read the books.
