With a looming deadline and a bad case of writer's block, Bronte decides to rent a quaint cottage on Jonathon Island for some holiday peace and quiet. But her plans for solitude are completely sleighed when the cottage owner's brother, Jonah, shows up unexpectedly. After two years away, Army surgeon Jonah White is finally going to be home for the holidays. And he's got a big decision to make about his future—something he needs to talk through with his parents. Except, much to his surprise, he arrives to find his family gone on a tropical Christmas cruise and a seriously uptight author in their place. And thanks to a blizzard, he can't even escape.
