15 years after Lieutenant Brady Slater’s on-duty death, his two youngest children graduate from academy. Everest and Emmett Slater were six years old when their father passed away. They had always dreamed of working with the Pane City Police Department just like him. As they finally get their chance to follow in their father’s footsteps, their elder brother Eli comes home to visit.

Their sibling bond had been strained for years, and is practically non-existent since Eli moved away eight years prior. Eli blamed the profession for his father’s death. Now he has to deal with the fact that his little brother and sister are taking on the same profession. Their mother just wants her children to be happy and be able to move forward with their lives.
