About the author

Lona MacLeod

Lona MacLeod writes romance the way she lives life: boldly, a little chaotically, and always with a suitcase half-packed. When she isn't wandering through old European streets or getting lost in Scottish moorland fog, she's usually found in a corner of a historic brownstone or castle-turned-writing-nook, filling notebooks with love stories that refuse to behave.

A devoted animal-enthusiast and enthusiastic (but not always successful) traveler, Lona believes every good adventure should include comfortable shoes, strong coffee, and at least one tall Scottish Highlander with questionable patience and excellent forearms.

She is forever chasing inspiration across beaches, hidden bookshops, and windswept cliffs, convinced that romance is everywhere if you know how to look for it.

When not writing, Lona can be found shopping for the perfect scarf, bribing her dog with treats, planning imaginary relocations to the Highlands, or daydreaming about her next fictional lover.

She currently divides her time between real life and the worlds she builds, and she has no plans to stop getting swept away by either.
