Mr. Alon is a science teacher in a secondary school and a self-published author. His second book, 'IN-LAB FLIP, Glass Generation Education,' is based on his master's thesis in Education. He wrote the book to tackle his weekly struggle of teaching large class sizes in his science lab and came up with an innovative solution. His teaching method was recognized and presented during the 2023 National English-Medium Instruction Program Conference, where he received an outstanding award from the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC) in Thailand.

​​​​​​​Mr. Alon has been teaching in Bangkok since 2008, both at international and government schools. Although he never dreamed of becoming an educator like his parent-teachers, after graduating from college, he volunteered at a non-governmental educational program for marginalized children, and it just caught him naturally. Mr. Alon is originally from the Philippines and is currently working in Thailand. He is a husband and father of two.
