Barbara Garrett began writing stories and poems when she first learned to pick up a pencil. Her dreams of being a published author stayed with her all her life.
She became a teacher and spent the majority of her 32 year career working as a homebound teacher for Fort Worth Independent School District in Fort Worth, Texas. She taught children who were too ill to attend school.
Barbara always felt she learned as much from her students as they learned from her. Her love for children combined with her desire to teach them life lessons produced her first book, Mo Banda. Please visit her website at www.BGarrettauthor.com.
